Experience and Professionalism
- Grossman & Grossman MD's was established in 1988 by husband and wife OB-GYNs Drs. Robert and Hannah Grossman.
- Our office staff are our second family.
- Taresa and Gina have both been with us for over 20 years and are dedicated to taking care of all aspects of our patients' medical needs and much more. They receive amazing praise from our patients.
A California native, Dr. Robert grew up in Los Angeles. He attended UC Berkeley and then USC Medical School where he met Dr. Hannah. She had completed UCLA prior to medical school. They have four great kids and have loved many dogs over the years.
Dr. Robert initially focused on general surgery before switching to OB-GYN to share a practice with Dr. Hannah. This was extremely helpful for the family and covering busy activities at home and at the hospital. His experience covering emergency rooms at Los Angeles County Hospital was also helpful for saving many of the neighbors and children from trips to the local ER for suturing, etc.They completed their OB-GYN training at the University of Tennessee. After a brief stay at Kaiser in Los Angeles, they moved to raise a family and start private practice in the Conejo Valley. After serving as Board Chair and Chief of Staff, Dr Hannah transitioned to full time CMO in 2014 while Dr Robert continued to enjoy private practice.
Dr Robert has been an active participant in hospital affairs. He was chief of staff at both the former Westlake Hospital and Thousand Oaks Surgery Hospital. He has served multiple terms as department chief of OB-GYN at Los Robles Hospital. His hobbies include cooking (his mother tested recipes for Bon Appetit Magazine), gardening, walking his dogs, playing piano and being with his family, especially the grandkids. Sundays are for swimming and playing piano at "Popa's" house.
Dr Robert does all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology. He is certified in DaVinci robotic surgery as well as advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures and hysteroscopy
Experienced, thoughtful, and compassionate care is what you can expect for any problem with Dr. Robert. He has obstetrical patients see specialists in maternal fetal medicine to get the benefit of their consultation and ultrasound.
On a daily basis, he is a phone call away if needed, as many patients know well.
